Welcome to CoonsMyst, we have Alters exclusively and show in CFA and TICA.
I have been showing Maine Coons since 1999,
after going to many Cat shows and seeing this Gorgeous Gentle Giant, I knew I had to have
one not to speak of showing her/him off in the show ring.

We acquired our first Maine Coon back in 1999, she was pet quality,
but I thought it would be fun to just see what this Very
flashy girl could do, and she did very good, was Premier in 2 shows.
Unfortunately she just did not like the Show Ring so I opted to
let her stay home and she has been a Happy camper ever since.
By now the "Show Bug hit hard ....real hard, so I was on a mission
to get a Show Quality Maine Coon and found a beautiful Silver Classic
with white, he is the epitome of a Show Cat, Loves to be handled,
lays on his grooming cart lounging in the show halls, doesn't mind
show baths (well maybe a little) but doesn't complain, the whole grooming
procedure with him is painless and you would think he knew he
was the Best looking cat in the house.

An update on my Myschief, he passed away July 11, 2008,from Heart Dysfunction, but he will always go on living
in my heart as well as always be a huge Presence in my home.

After seeing the Brown Classics in the Show Ring, I knew that was
my next, and I did get my Brown Classic and he is now a QGCA, we're trying to get BEST cat, that elusive Title, then he will Supreme....keeping fingers and paws crossed.
I also have a Red Classic with white, he Premiered but wasn't too happy
about the show bath nor show ring so he made up MY mind
that he would be staying home... I have loved this breed from day one
and they give just as much if not more back, as well
as being the biggest "Goofs" ever, they will keep you amused that is no doubt.

Jesse has attained the Honor of
Second Best Maine Coon Alter of the Year -2008
in South Central..we couldn't be any PROUDER of
our Boy
He also received Third Best Maine Coon Alter in 2009. He is now Retired as a
Quad Grand Champion Alter, and deservedly so.
